How pure is Biligiri Honey?
Biligiri Honey is 100% pure raw honey. The honey is collected from the beehives, filtered and packaged. No preservatives, sweeteners or artificial colors are added.

How long can honey be stored?
Pure undiluted honey can be stored indefinitely. The low water content, acidic pH, and special enzymes keep honey fresh. To retain the flavour, store it in a cool, dry area and store in an airtight container. Be careful not to use contaminated utensils and introduce food particles into the jar. Refrigeration is not necessary even after the jar has been opened. The best before date on the label is due to food industry laws.

Can raw honey be fed to infants?
Raw honey should not be fed to children less than one year of age as there is a small risk of botulism.

What does it mean if the honey has crystallised or changed colour?
Over time you may find the honey has crystallised or darkened. This is natural for unprocessed honey and occurs due to the natural sugars and pollen. This does not affect the flavour or quality of the honey. Honey that does not change colour or texture for long periods of time has been processed and thus stripped of its beneficial properties. If you prefer a liquid consistency, gently warm the honey and stir. Overheating or boiling will destroy the flavour.

How do I request a replacement of my purchase?
